MLS Event Prep. MLS Fanfest Preparation Underway Amid Partial Closures at Vic Mathias Shores

Hey, good morning, everyone. It's July 16th. It's Wednesday morning, 8:36 a.m. this is Gary for City vibe. I'm just at the base of the, uh, South First Street ramp, kind of close to, uh, auditorium shores, and what we've got going on here, folks is set up for the MLS, the Major League Soccer fan fest, uh, which is taking place this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, over on Vic Matthias Shores here at auditorium shores. Um, it's a two day event which ties in, uh, with the MLS, uh, All-Star Week, uh, which is actually centered around, um, the Q2 stadium up here in North Austin. Of course, home of Austin Football Club And as you can see, this looks like it's sort of first day of set up, uh, just getting. Sort of logistic items in place, a lot of generators, a lot of forklifts, and uh just strolling over to the, the grassy area here at auditorium shores. I'm just starting to see them marking out the area where the stage and uh other events are going to take place.
