Perfect Picnic Weather. Sunny Skies and Vibrant Vibes at Zilker: Perfect Day for Picnics and Outdoor Fun in Austin

I'm at the Great Lawn at Silver Park where you can see the Austin skyline in the background here, and it's a, a pretty busy morning here at the Great Lawn. People are coming out here with their dogs. I guess you can have your dogs off the leash here. A lot of people enjoying the sunshine. It's not too hot at all, um, which it won't be true in a couple months here in Austin, so. Uh, come out here while you can. People playing volleyball, people enjoying the weather, and I can promise you the grass is 100% dry and there's not a cloud in the sky here at Ziler Park. May 10, 2025. Mr. G reporting for City Vibe. I'm at Ziler Park here on Saturday morning right at the trail at the railroad tracks at Ziler Park where the train comes through, and it's pretty busy out here. A lot of people with their families, a lot of people enjoying the beautiful weather here. Um, so even though, uh, you know, the, it's busy, you can still get around people having fun on scooters, uh, people enjoying the beautiful trail right here. Uh, by Ziler Park where uh they call it the water side because you can see the water right here. This right here is a popular bridge where people actually jump off this bridge right here into the, uh, to the water down there, so nobody's jumping off the bridge at this moment, but, uh, beautiful day here at Ziler Park, and you're not supposed to jump from the bridge either apparently.
