East 6th Night Life. Austin's East 6th Street Comes Alive: A Night Walk from Lucky Duck to La Perla

All right, so, we're gonna do a bar walk. We are here at La Perla I'm downtown on the east side. So yeah. It's a nice night out, really cool. It rained earlier. Got lots of people out, getting the night started, so, uh. We're just gonna go down here, go down the block visit The Lucky Duck. I show you guys the vibes. And uh this is Lolo, this little wine bar, a couple of people in here. Looks like everything's just getting started right now, so pretty quiet in there right now Volstead, but always a busy spot. Got people headed up to the low down. We're right across the way. Mother's Ruin looks pretty busy. Already pretty full crowded. Revelry. We got a live band tonight. The world famous halal time. That’s for the afters. Uh, we're coming up on, uh, 6th and Navasota right now. Looks like we got a pretty healthy line going outside of Latch Key. That's about to start forming. Latch Key always has the longest line. That's on this side of town. Get across here. Yeah, well, it's, it's a crosswalk, so. It's gonna continue going. All right, yeah. This is a short line. So if you guys want to come to latch key, now would be the time before this line goes around the block. I haven't been here My man Calvin holding down the main door right now. Uh We just can you know. Nice little dinner spot. People enjoying the cocktails. And Yeah, we're an almost here to lucky duck. Yeah, you got a latch. Yeah, we got on the Toke shop. All right y'all. And this is Lucky duck vibes over here right now. not too many people in there yet. Um, we'll give you guys a bonus. We're gonna walk over here to uh. Austin Garden, go see. What the deal is over there. Sounds like they have a live band too. So yeah. No. People there, they got a live bands sounds like they're playing a little country. So yeah, that's our vibes over here that's uh gonna be our walk. Um I'll rank it tonight right now. I mean, the weather is perfect. The lines are low. I mean right now it's a definitely a fine time to come out. You get your Get your party on. I’ll give it a 5! All right, y'all, peace. All right, y’all , so we're gonna do a recap real quick. Uh, let's see, if I were gonna come out here tonight right now, I think the best two spots that I saw so far, uh, Mother's Ruin, they have fantastic cocktails. And then, uh, second, uh, I'll probably go to Inn Cahoots, uh, or Austin Garden because, uh, they have a really big patio outdoors, uh, we also have on the rooftop bar up there, uh, for. Uh, IYKYK. So I would, I would pick between those two, and then always feel like the neighborhood vibes, I would definitely start my night off at La Perla’s, but other than that. Uh, the East Side's always the best side of the town, I feel like. come check it out.
