Shoal Creek Trail Sees Light Morning Activity as Heat Looms
Hey, good morning everyone. It's Gary from City Vibe. Tuesday morning, July 29th, 9:55 a.m. I'm out on the Butler hike and bike trail, um, just between the railroad bridge and the pedestrian bridge on the north side of the river. Uh, trail activity is quite light now. And once the sun gets up there in the sky, it starts to get kind of warm and humid out here. Uh, most of the run clubs. are now long gone. Uh, one thing I did notice is that the wonderful people at the Trail Foundation, they do host a, uh, volunteer clean up event every other Tuesday in the Pfluger Circle, which is the little loop de loop that takes you up to the bridge, uh, but it doesn't interrupt any recreational use of the trail. Um, what we got going on here, looks like we got a couple down by the lake just hanging out with the ducks. And yeah, still one or two lone runners and dog walkers out here. Have a great day y'all.
Hey everyone, it's Gary for City vibe, just out on the Butler Hike and Bike Trail Tuesday morning 9:57, and this is one of those days where The ducks outnumber the people on the trail. Uh, sun's getting up there in the sky. It's quite warm and muggy now, so, uh, most of the run clubs are done for the day. It tends now just to be people out taking a morning stroll, walking their dogs, or, uh, feeding the ducks, as is the case down there. And this is your view now, uh, just looking west in the direction of the Pfluger pedestrian bridge.
