Video Transcript
Hey y'all, it's Gary checking in from UT. Um, on the intersection of Dean Keaton and Guadalupe, uh, got the Moody College of Communication next to me. You can see the pedestrian bridge up there and right across from the iconic Hole in the Wall bar bathed in sunlight on this beautiful morning. It's a Friday, March 21st. It's 9:31. I am. We're coming to the end of the spring break week, so as you'd expect Pedestrian traffic is real light, uh, vehicle traffic yeah it's also on the light side. I noticed that um there's even available street side parking here on Dean Keaton. There's 2 or 3 of these metered spaces are open. So, uh, yeah, that's your view from the corner of Dean Keaton and Guadalupe on a beautiful spring morning at the University of Texas. Hey y'all, it's Gary checking in from the University of Texas just crossing the inter section at Guadalupe and Dean Keaton. It's Friday morning, March 21st. It's uh 9:35 a.m. right outside the hHole in the Wall bar. and the Moxy hotel next to it. We're coming to the end of spring break, of course, now, so, uh, campus is going to start to fill up again over the weekend, ready for classes to resume next week, but for now, uh, real quiet, very minimal pedestrian traffic. The streets feel quieter as well because of course the UT shuttle buses don't run during spring break, so that reduces the volume of vehicle traffic on the Drag. And uh that's looking north now. And I'll take a spin around, you can see how quiet everything is. So that's your view from uh University of Texas on a beautiful spring morning, March 21st, the end of spring break week.
