Hey everyone, it's Juneteenth, June 19th, Thursday morning 9:38 a.m. This is Gary. I'm over at the State Capitol, right by the African American History Memorial. Uh, this place is lively today. There's a large, uh, bicycle ride, uh, which leaves at 10 a.m. the Black history, social ride, lots of cool bikes out here and folks excited to get out and take a look at some of the locations and share some of the stories. Um, of black history, uh, in Austin. Here are the ride leaders here are just giving everybody a briefing before they set off. I'd say there's probably 30 or 40 people here and more arriving every minute. someone just got a bubble wand that caught my attention. So there's your view anyway from the uh Texas African American history monument On the morning of Juneteenth.
