Austin's East 6th. Exploring Austin's East 6th Street: A Vibrant Hub for Renters and Visitors

All right, so, so if you're thinking about booking a stay near East 6th Street on Austin, this is what we're looking at right here. Uh, you know, you got Raman Tat-suya, Ill Bruto. Great spot for Italian food. Uh, lots of shops here, salons, coffee shops. We got the food truck spot right over here across the street. Uh, so if you need that late night eats, you can come over here, check it out, uh, but East 6th is probably like my favorite side of town to hang out on, uh, during the daytime it's pretty quiet, you know, just, uh. A lot of people out walking their dogs and uh there's a couple of businesses over here in the area like uh Cloudflare, and some tech companies, whatnot, so, uh. It's really cool. Um, up the way. Let's see. We got the Arnold. I have friends that stay there. I don't know if they do the Airbnbs over there, but. Good little spot, Klerje Coffee. That little place just opened up over here, uh, back in a couple of months ago, uh, so not too bad. Uh, I know you guys see me go to Liberty before. You got a Royal Blue. Uh Smoothie shop over here, Blenders and Bowls. Check it out. It looks like they got a new mural going up. Very nice. Uh And I've showed you guys Galaxy Smoke before. It's also cool and this little area over here to just sit down, have lunch. So There's a Galaxy Smoke shop over there across the street and then up here. And up the way we got the grackle right across the street, they have parking, uh, and then Zilker Brewery. Got a nice little beer garden over here. The group here on site, uh. Y'all looking for a good food truck. Spicy Boys has fantastic fried chicken sandwiches, uh. You got some good deals on those. Zilker sometimes hosts like little events or whatever, and they do live tattooing on the spot, so you get a a Spicy Boys tattoo, and they'll give you $5 chicken sandwiches for life. That's cool, uh. And we're getting over here closer to Comal, or sorry, closer to Chicon. And let's see, we got another tattoo shop. There's a couple of tattoo shops on the block. Um, over here across the way is a Daydreamer. And then you got Suerte coming up. As well, the Daydreamers get a little cocktail bar. They usually have DJs, everything. Suerte is a little bit more fine dining. Uh, when I worked at Via right next door, uh, Gordon Ramsey came through. I didn't get to see him, but he's was there. Um, you got VA 313 though, uh, so you get that deep dish pan Detroit style pizza. And And continue down. Nice little mural here. And on the corner up here we got This place called Whistlers. Which was a little most mostly patio bar, but they have specialty cocktails as well. Good night vibes. Uh, we got barbershop and menswear store as soon as you get tux if you need it, uh. And then Yeah, like down towards this side, it's gonna be a you got. Uh, Lazarus brewery, uh. Canje back there There's a little breakfast spot, you can go get breakfast over here. I can't remember the name of the breakfast spot, but it's also good. Ah. And then back over here, it's kind of like more industrial area. The housing, uh, area, so it's good stuff. Uh, We got our scooter people rolling. Uh, Natuur is another smoothie spot. They, uh, really good smoothies as well. And then, yeah, over here we're just getting into uh. More of the apartment complexes that are around the area. We also have uh. They park up here, they got pickle bar courts. Yeah, this is uh, this area. Can't get a little bit Can be a little bit crazy. There's a lot of uh. Uh Apartment complexes and stuff like that, so late night. Uh, people are out and about and everything, so. It's, it's, it can be busy, but uh I see you got the train tracks down here. Um, if you keep going down a couple blocks, you got Yellow Jacket, uh, more like a, it's like a little punk dive bar, but yeah, other than that. keep walking down towards Cesar Chavez. All right, so, so. We have reached the end and we're just gonna start walking back. But yeah, other than that, uh, this guy is a barber as well. It's all good. Good to see you. Yeah, so, uh, he's a great barber. He works on 7th at a barbershop, uh, right next to the butcher shop. There's like a butcher shop and there's a barbershop over there. I can't remember the name of his barbershop, but anyways, it's good people. I got people rolling in on the skateboards, uh. But anyways, yeah, I pretty much said everything that we do out here in Austin. On the east side on 6, and I just want to tap in and say, yeah, I can check it out sometime. If you want to, uh, I would definitely recommend, uh, booking your Airbnb over on this side of town if you're coming to check it out or if you want to actually move here, you know, this is the best place to be as far as like, you know, nightlife and safety and all that kind of stuff. It's a little less, a little less, uh, skid row over here if I could say anything. But other than that, yeah, thanks for uh checking out the vibe check y'all.
