Campus Highlights. Explore the Heart of UT Campus: Texas Global and Key Local Spots

Hey, good morning everyone. It's uh Tuesday, July 29th. This is Gary for City Vibe. Out here sweating through my fanciest shirt at the intersection of 24th and Nueces. Uh, this is the gateway to West Campus and I brought you here to show you a couple of things, uh. Maybe one of them you you will need and hopefully the other you won't need. uh, this is the headquarters of uh UTPD, University of Texas Police Force, and it sits right next to uh Texas Global, which is the International Students Service center, um. So, uh, the post office at UT uh actually closed down last year and so mail services are handled now by individual schools, um, but passport services are now handled here. So not too far from the main campus. It's just a block west of campus. It's right opposite one of my favorite places actually. This is called the Court of the Three Sisters. Let me just cross over here. Uh, the Victory Lap bar on one side of the court, and there's a real nice, uh, Starbucks right on the other side of the Court of the ree Sisters as well. And just to get your bearings, you can see, uh, Just, just through the light there you can see the drag.
