Quiet Weekend as Spring Break Begins at UT Austin

Video Transcript
Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from UT. Um, at the intersection of Dean Keaton and uh Guadalupe. I'm right next to the communications building, uh, the moody pedestrian bridge there in back of me. And uh it's Saturday morning. It is 9:20. And it is March 15th. It's the first day of spring break, and it does feel like campus has emptied out. Vehicle traffic on Guadeloupe is light and foot traffic is absolutely minimal today. Hey y'all, this is Gary. I'm at UT. I'm on the intersection section here of, uh, Guadalupe Street, the drag, and Dean Keaton. It's the first day of spring break, uh, Saturday morning, March 15th, and, uh, just looking at the iconic businesses behind me. We've got the hole in the wall bar and also a Kirby Lane cafe. In back, uh, that's always a good indicator of how busy campus is going to be. Uh, there is no line at all outside of Kirby Lane, and there is only a handful of people inside. OK, so, Campus is quiet, it's the first day of spring break. Traffic on the drag is flowing real easy. It's a beautiful Saturday morning on campus at UT.
