Hey y'all, Tuesday lunchtime. It's, uh, May 6th, 12:08 p.m. and this is Gary, uh, taking a walk north on Congress Avenue towards the State Capital. Rain has finally eased off. Uh, the sun is trying to make an appearance and we've got a couple of theater marquees lit up here like the 4th of July. Uh, here's the Paramount teasing Lyle Lovett and his large band, their anniversary gala on Saturday, May 10th, and right next to it, we've also got the State Theater, and let's see what we’ve got going on on the bill…. Yeah, folks starting to come back out again, now this rain has finally stopped, and uh oh the State is gonna be showing Casablanca on May 22nd. And What have we got here, Bob James Quartet, May 13th. Rami Yusuf May 15th. Hey y'all, Tuesday lunchtime, May 6th, 12:26 p.m. This is Gary. I've made it up to the State Capitol, and as you can see panning south the city is still cloaked in rain clouds, uh, gives quite a unique perspective of the Capitol. Usually this place is teeming with visitors, with school trips, with legislators maybe grabbing lunch on the Capitol grounds, but not so much today. Uh, people are certainly outnumbered by these black and white trooper vehicles, which are lining the driveway in front of the Capitol.
