UT Road Chaos. UT Austin Faces Construction Challenges Amid Road Closures

Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from UT. I'm at the intersection of Guadalupe and 21st. It's Friday lunchtime. It's 12:24, March 21st. I'm right by the, uh, Daniel Johnson, uh, mural. Hi, how are you? I wanted to point out some construction that's going on here on 21st. You can see that the westbound lane is actually closed off. Um, so there's only the eastbound lane here and it's causing chaos in the intersection, folks trying to turn around in the intersection when they spot that it's closed, so. hopefully this is resolved by next week when school starts up again. Traffic is pretty moderate to light on the Drag, with the light foot traffic as well. So that's the view from the inner section of 21st and Guadalupe on Friday afternoon, March 21st. Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from uh University of Texas. I'm at the intersection of Guadalupeand 21st. Uh, it's a Friday lunchtime, uh, 12:31. That's, uh, March 21st, and, uh, I'm now across by the Target store, just taking a look down 21st east towards the university Catholic Center. You can see that there is still ongoing construction on this side of the intersection as well, um, by the Littlefield Fountain, so hopefully this is all resolved by next week when classes start. Traffic's moving pretty well on the Drag fairly light to moderate, also fairly light foot traffic. So that's your view from the intersection of Guadalupe and 21st on Friday afternoon, March 21st.
