Color Fest Preview. Color Fest Setup Lights Up Republic Square Park in Austin

Hey everyone, Saturday morning, May 31st at 9:54 a.m. This is Gary. I'm downtown at Republic Square Park, and I've just stumbled upon the setup for Color Fest or Kush Fest, which is, uh, a traditional Hindu celebration that marks the beginning of spring. It also signifies the triumph of good over evil. And it's often marked by throwing colored powder in the air, brightly colored powder in the air, hence the name Color Fest. It doesn't kick off until closer to midday, as you can see, the vendors are just getting set up here and as you can probably hear, they're just testing out the sound system as well. So this is the setup. Just panning around here. Republic public park, as you probably know, is just between 3rd and 4th in downtown Austin, Texas.
