Innovative Skateboard and Scooter Parking Unveiled at University of Texas
Video Transcript
Hey y'all, it's Gary checking in from the University of Texas. It's a Monday, March 24th, 1:38 p.m. I'm outside of the Perry Castaneda library, uh, across from the Jester center And this is uh a pedestrianized section of Speedway, close to the inner section of 21st and uh something just caught my eye here, which I thought was kind of cool. So if you have a motorized scooter or skateboard and you need somewhere to lock it up while you're in the library, then this little contraption here is just what you're looking for. So yeah, this is at the intersection of Speedway and 21st, uh, between the library and the Jester.
Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from the University of Texas. It's Monday, March 24th. It's 1:42 p.m. I'm walking along Speedway. I'm right outside the Jester and the Perry Castaneda library. I'm on the pedestrianized section of Speedway now headed north. Uh, there's a great sort of street cafe vibe to this corner here. All the folks outside grabbing a bite to eat from the food trailers we got La Fonda over here. There's a coffee trailer on the other side, and uh we're coming up now on a little cluster of pop up tents where various student organizations are kind of trying to drum up support for their particular passion or cause. I'll give you a view of that. So you can take a look and see how that looks. So yeah, beautiful March, lunchtime at the intersection of 21st and uh Speedway, University of Texas.
