Cinco Downpour. Unexpected Rainstorm Disrupts Cinco de Mayo Celebrations Under South First Street Bridge

Hey y'all, Happy Cinco de Mayo. This is Gary checking in from underneath the South First Street Bridge. Uh, next to the Butler Hike and bike trail, it's uh Monday lunchtime, 11:42. Uh, May 5th, and I just got caught in a rainstorm, so big front coming in from the south, cooled everything off, a few rumbles of thunder, and then the skies opened. So I'm sheltering under here with a bunch of other folks who were out on the Butler trail when the when the skies opened, there's still a few brave folks out there who are just taking one for the team by the look of things. I might be underneath here for a little while I think looking at the weather app, we've probably got about an hour of this now. Quite picturesque looking at the skyline from out underneath the first street bridge here.
