Morning Calm on Guadalupe Street: Light Traffic and Sparse Parking Scene
Video Transcript
Hey y'all, it's uh Friday morning, April 4th. It's uh 10:11 a.m. and this is Gary checking in. I'm at the intersection of Guadalupe and uh 22nd. Just looking west onto West campus here along 22nd Street. Interesting skyline, you can make out the Church of Scientology there, the Presbyterian Church behind it, and the construction that we're seeing at the intersection of 22nd and San Antonio is actually the new Icon tower, which is a 30 story apartment tower, which is close to completion. Uh, pedestrian traffic is currently light. Uh, 5 minutes before the top of each hour, this essentially becomes like a conveyor belt as students make their way from West Campus to classes.
Hey y'all, Friday morning, Gary checking in from the intersection of Guadalupe and 22nd, just crossing over 22nd now, walking north up the Drag alongside the Church of Scientology, and just make our Cafe Medici there in front of me. Uh, traffic moving smoothly along the drag right now. Light to moderate, not too much in the way of, uh, curbside parking available right now. And this is your view looking south towards downtown.
