Barton Springs Report. Barton Springs Pool Snapshot: Mixed Views on Water Conditions and Visitor Presence

It's Friday, June 20th at Barton Springs pool, the world famous Barton Springs pool. This is the free side. That's the side that costs a little money. Very busy, very crowded. And uh lots of people having fun, enjoying themselves. Mr. Gee reporting for City. It's Friday, June 20th, 2025, 2:27 in the afternoon. I'm at the inlet of Bar in Springs School, the side that's not on the fence. And even though the water is OK here, it's way more darker over here than it is on the other side, and you have a lot of like, uh, homeless and transients seem to be over here in the free side. So, you know, I've been coming out here for a while. I always choose to pay the few dollars go on the fence side, much better, much cleaner water.
