Morning Traffic and Ominous Clouds at UT Austin
Video Transcript
Hey y'all, Thursday morning, uh, March 27th, it's 8:22 a.m. And uh, this is Gary checking in from the intersection of Guadalupe and Dean Keaton. And I'm outside of the uh Moody College of Communication. You can see the pedestrian bridge there, which connects the old with the new. This old gray monolith, monolith here, the Jesse Jones building was the original home for Austin City Limits TV show before it moved to its new location down on 2nd Street and across the footbridge you can now see the new Moody college of communication. Taking a look now north up the drag, I can see some really ominous rain clouds moving in. Traffic flowing reasonably well, lot of buses, a lot of UT shuttles on the road this time of day. Uh, pedestrian traffic is pretty minimal, and, uh, that's your view looking south down the drag.
Hey y’all checking in from the University of Texas. We're just crossing over the intersection now of Dean Keaton, uh, next to Guadalupe. You can see the old Hole in the Wall bar just across the street and the new Moxy hotel next to it. Uh, rain clouds on the horizon. Folks seems to be rushing to wherever they're going, uh 9 o'clock classes I guess, in about 30 minutes. Traffic on the drag, uh, light to moderate. Everything moving pretty well as you can see. Looking south down the drag now, everything seems to be flowing pretty well, and that's your view from the intersection of Dean Keaton and Guadalupe on a rainy Thursday morning.
