Community Gathers for a Serene Start in Austin's Zilker Park: Volunteer Event Promotes Peace and Beauty

Hey, good morning everyone. This is Gary from City Vibe. It's Tuesday morning, July 29th, 9:43 a.m. And what better way to ease into your day, uh, than with an act of service? So the rail foundation are here in the Pfluger circle, which is a beautiful space that sits right at the north end of the Pfluger pedestrian bridge. And every other Tuesday. They host a volunteer event. 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. they provide all of the equipment, the gloves, the tools, you just need to show up here. And the focus today is uh some watering, uh, some vine removal. Um, there's some invasive species apparently over here, uh, which they are removing and just general beautification. Um, of this beautiful space. Yeah, great way to ease into the day, uh, with some zen gardening. Hey everyone, Gary from City Vibe on Tuesday morning, uh, over in the Pfluger Circle, which is this beautiful little urban oasis right at the north end of the Pfluger Bridge. Uh, it's a beautiful place to ease into the day, any day of the week, but especially every other Tuesday. Uh, the wonderful people at the Trail Foundation host of volunteer events. And what a great way to Just give back to the The city that we love, uh, some watering and some fertilization. Fertilizing, um. Removal of some vines and some invasive species. They've crept into the. Uh Into the flower beds over there. The They provide everything you need, folks, all the tools, all the gloves. Uh, you just come along. And uh just show some love to this special place.
