Uh, I'm at the intersection of Guadalupe and 24th on the drag, and I noticed that all of the lampposts along Guadalupe from 24th all the way down to uh West Mall and beyond, all of the lampposts are adorned with green ribbons. And The green ribbon has come to signify, or has has come to memorialize the victims of the July 4th Flooding in the Texas Hill Country. Uh, especially the young campers, uh, who were at summer camps along the Guadalupe River, uh, close to Kerrville. Particularly the color green was the color, or is the color. Of Camp Mystic, uh, the girls camp. which seems to have been Affected Most profoundly by loss . So this is UT's way, one small way of memorializing the victims of a of a dark weekend in Texas history.
