Campus Morning Rush. Morning Hustle Near UT: Traffic and Student Routines Heat Up

Hey y'all, it's uh Tuesday morning, April 1st, 9:11 a.m. This is Gary checking in from the University of Texas. I'm at the intersection of Dean Keaton and University Avenue. Just taking a look at the north side of the UT Tower, probably the least photographed side of the tower, with Gearing hall, kind of blocking the sightline a little bit. Uh, parking availability along University Ave here, it's all permit parking and it's strictly enforced as well. Um, we're right next to one of the halls of residence, You've got the Littlefield patio cafe there as well, uh. Pedestrian traffic is starting to tick up now the 9 a.m. classes are underway, and you can see we've got a little bit of vehicle traffic starting to back up on Dean Keaton. Hey y'all Tuesday morning, April 1st, just crossing the intersection of University Ave at Dean Keaton and uh just taking a look at traffic here, moving along Dean Keaton, this is, uh, looking east as you can see, the majority of traffic this time of day is coming up from Interstate 35, and heading up towards the university main Drag over there. So we're seeing a little bit of a tail back at the lights now, uh, as vehicle traffic is picking up here at the intersection, University and Dean Keaton.
