Discover a Serene Morning at the Texas State Capitol Grounds Amidst Nature and History

Hey everyone, this is Gary from City Vibe. It's Friday morning, July 25th, 9:56 a.m. I'm over in the grounds of the Texas State Capitol. Um, it's a quiet day over here. You never quite know what you're gonna get at the state Capitol. Uh, some days it definitely. is more boisterous than others, but today, Uh, it's calm, it's quiet. And uh I'm just enjoying being out amongst these beautiful manicured flower beds, these wonderful historic live oak trees that line the great walk. And the great walk that connects 11th Street. With the south entrance of the capital, 500 ft long, uh, paved in a checkerboard pattern of gray and, uh, pink granite. Uh, just frames. Uh, these historic grounds beautifully and on the right day it can absolutely be somewhere to relax and ponder and plan out your day. Hey everyone, this is Gary from City Vibe on Friday morning over at the Texas State Capitol and uh at risk of sounding like Forrest Gump. And “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.” That's kind of the experience at the uh the Texas State Capitol. These are beautiful grounds, uh, beautiful manicured flower beds, uh, historic. Uh, live oak trees, uh, the great walk there with its checkerboard pattern pathway. Um, beautiful mature lawns. On a quiet day, it really is somewhere to sit and reflect. Uh, and plan out your day. Uh, of course, occasionally it can get a little bit rowdy, a little bit boisterous out here, so you've just got to choose your moment, and there's that beautiful pink granite, Texas State Capitol building.
