Quiet Morning at UT Austin During Spring Break: Smooth Traffic and Ample Parking

Video Transcript
Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from UT. It's uh Tuesday morning, uh, March 18th at 9:42. I'm on the drag outside of Kirby Lane Cafe. And uh just across from the School of Journalism and the Moody College of Communication, it's spring break week and uh campus is definitely quieter than usual. Traffic is flowing smoothly along the drag and uh it's just fairly light, uh, pedestrian traffic. Kirby Lane is always a good barometer for how busy campus is going to be, and you can see in their parking lot, there's there's ample parking. There's quite a few folks inside. I would say Kirby Lane is probably about 1/3 full right now. And as you can see, traffic through the inter section of 27th is moving real well, as is traffic through the intersection of 26. So yeah, quite a laid back morning over on the drag at UT. Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from University of Texas. I'm on the drag, Guadalupe right outside of the uh Kirby Lane cafe. Tuesday morning, uh, 9:45. Am. March 18th. And it's spring break week, so as expected, campus is definitely quieter than usual. Traffic is flowing nicely along the drag. Um, minimal foot traffic at the moment. If I just take a turn around, you can see the intersection there at 26 where the School of Journalism and the College of Communications are. Usually that intersection is one of the pinch points on campus, but everything is moving real well. Um, plenty of plenty of parking at the local businesses. The Kirby Lane parking lot was only about a half full. I can see 7-Eleven's real quiet. Yeah, quite a laid back, chill Tuesday morning over on the drag at the University of Texas.
