MLS Fanfest Setup. MLS Fanfest Preparation Underway at Auditorium Shores Ahead of All-Star Game

Hey, good morning everyone. It is, uh, Thursday morning, July 17th. This is Gary at Auditorium Shores. I'm just taking a look at the setup for the MLS Fanfest, which takes place this weekend. Um It coincides with the MLS All Star game, uh, which will be next Wednesday at Q2 Stadium, home of course of Austin FC, uh, set up is well under way. Uh, I can see, um, obviously the staging is in place, uh, the temporary roads have gone down, so the forklifts can access, uh, the, the grassy area, Vic Matthias shores. Um, the fan fest is going to be Saturday and Sunday, uh, evenings, kicks off at 6 p.m. It is free to enter. Uh, of course, with it being Austin, there's going to be the obligatory live music, but, um. There's more to it than that. It's about meet and greets with your favorite MLS players. As you can see, there's some uh soccer nets set up over there as well, so there's gonna be all sorts of soccer related fun and games, um. In terms of impeding movement on the trail, the trail is open as usual, but the parking lot that is at the base of the South 1st Street bridge ramp is actually closed now. It's been used as a staging point for infrastructure and logistic equipment.
