Zilker Park Update. Post-Storm Serenity: Zilker Park Welcomes Visitors Under Clear Skies with Skyline Views

It is Thursday, May 29th, 2:17 in the afternoon. I'm at the Great Lawn at Zoer Park, and it's a beautiful day out here. The grass is completely dry. You can trust me. You have the Austin skyline in the background. A lot of people seem to have noticed they seem to have come out here. It's actually busier than I thought it was gonna be, and um it's a nice day. The sun is shining. There's a lot of branches on the ground from the storm from last night. So you want to watch where you step, but other than that, it looks pretty safe. There was a big storm yesterday, but everything is open. None of the areas are blocked off for flooding. And uh it's pretty relatively busy for the uh amount of people uh out here. Uh, lots of people enjoying the day today. Uh, out here at the trail by Ziler Park, lots of people going swimming, lots of young people jumping off the bridge here at Silver Park. I Packed over here. Lots of people are enjoying the beautiful day. The grass is completely dry. Uh, despite last night's storm, and there is some evidence of last night's heavy rainstorm with branches on the ground, uh, so you maybe want to be careful where you step. But other than that, it's a beautiful day. Lots of people are out here enjoying it as well. You have dry grass and uh lots of people walking their dogs, enjoying the sunshine and having a good time here at Silver Park, uh, in front of the great lawn. Mr. G reporting for City Vibe. There's some puddles left over from, uh, last night's rainstorm, but still a lot of people out here enjoying the, uh, weather the summertime. Uh, we have people, uh, jumping off the bridge here enjoying themselves. See, see, and you wanna jump real quick for a magazine. You wanna jump for a magazine for City magazine.
