From Joggers to Mounted Officers, Shoal Creek Trail Bustles with Morning Activity in Austin
Hey, good morning everyone. This is Gary from City Vibe, out on the Butler hike and bike trail, uh, just alongside the uh South First Street Bridge. Now that's something I've not seen before. We got, uh, Mounted APD officers out on the trail. It's a great sound, the sound of the horse's hooves here on the, uh, on the gravel track. And there's this guy's, uh, looks like he's spinning a lasso, the officer on the right. Very cool. Uh, plenty of activity still out on the trail. It's, um, Friday morning, 10:53, August 8th. Um, there's enough of a breeze to keep things interesting out here, folks. Obviously the sun is getting up there in the sky now, um, but it's really not too bad at all, so we got a good mixture of, uh, horses, dog walkers, recreational walkers. And a few runners out here on the Butler hike and bike trail. Happy Friday y'all.
Hey everyone, Gary from City vibe here just out alongside the Butler Hike and bike trail, uh, we're right outside of the uh sailboat tower or uh. Block 145 to give it its proper name, the Google Building. Plenty of activity out on the trail still. There's, there's enough of a breeze to keep things interesting out here. You know, it's, it's Texas in August, so it's hot and it's humid, uh, but the breeze is moving things along nicely, so, uh, we've got horses out here, we got recreational walkers, dog walkers out here as well. And uh just coming up alongside one of my favorite landmarks on the trail, that's this elaborately decorated power pole here. Uh, always gives off a Doctor Seuss vibe. Is this a cat in a hat? No, it's Gary, the city vibes spotter with his sunglasses on his head. Have a great weekend, y'all.
