Austin's Vintage Market Draws Large Crowds with Bargains and Unique Finds
Hey everyone, it's Sunday afternoon, August 3rd, 3 p.m. and this is Gary over at the Guad vintage Maet. It lives on the intersection of 29th and Guadeloupe. Every Sunday, rain or shine. You've got an embarrassment of thrifted fines, authentic vintage, handmade jewelry, and it sets up in the parking lot of Pavement, Lucky lounge, and Antone’s records, of course, Clifford Antone instrumental in bringing the great Stevie Ray Vaughan to Austin and uh I know he'd be thrilled to see his parking lot being put to such great use.
OK. Hey everyone, Gary from City Vibe. Sunday afternoon, just taking in the sights and the sounds of the Guad vintage market. Every Sunday you'll find them out here in a section of 29th and Guad, as someone who's been around for a little while, this kind of reminds me of the early days of the Renaissance market down at 23rd and Guadalupe - what starts as an organic trading post, has quickly crystallized into this behemoth weekly market.
