University of Texas at Austin Bustles with Activity as Students Return for First Week of Classes

Hey everyone, this is Gary from City Vibe out on the 40 acres. I am standing at the inner section of 24th and Guadalupe right outside of the Union Building. Happy hump day y'all. It's Wednesday, August 27th, uh, round about noon, and, uh, look at all of the activity out here. This is probably one of the most trafficked crosswalks intersections, uh, in all of Texas right now. It's so good to have everybody back. Campus is feeling. Kind of like itself again. Uh, we're in the first week of classes, um. Lot of icebreaker activities, uh, kind of meet and greets, get to know your professors, get to know your TAs, so nothing too challenging intellectually. Um, during week one of classes, uh, that will soon change though as the academic load sort of starts to shift, but for now, yeah, just enjoying the sights and sounds of the first week back in class at UT.
